1. Our Values

1.1 We Don't Sell Your Data: We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

1.2 Data Minimization: We collect only what we need to run the Services, keep them secure and meet our legal obligations.

1.3 Transparency: We aim to be clear about what we collect, why, and who we share it with.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Discord Account: When you sign in, we receive your Discord user ID, username and avatar, and the list of servers where you have permission to manage the server, through Discord's OAuth2 process.

2.2 Twitch Account: If you connect Twitch, we receive your Twitch user ID, username and the Twitch teams you belong to.

2.3 Access Tokens: We store the authentication tokens Discord and Twitch give us so Talon can act on your behalf. They are never shown publicly or shared with other services.

2.4 Server Configuration: For servers where Talon is added, we store settings such as server and channel IDs, monitored streamers and teams, and announcement preferences.

2.5 Streamer and Stream Data: For streamers being monitored, including streamers who have never used Talon, we store public information from Twitch: display name, login, profile image, stream titles, categories, start and end times, raids, clips, VOD links, and the Discord messages Talon posted about each stream.

2.6 Technical Data: When you visit the site, we store a session record that includes your IP address and browser user agent, and we use your IP address to rate-limit requests. We also keep operational logs of the bot's activity, and we use application monitoring that records errors and performance data.

3. Why We Use Your Information

We use information to:

• Post and update stream announcements in the Discord channels you choose.
• Let you manage your servers and settings through the dashboard.
• Keep Twitch EventSub subscriptions in sync for monitored streamers.
• Publish public streamer and team pages with stream history, rosters and clips.
• Write stream recaps and daily team summaries.
• Prevent abuse, fix problems, and improve the Services.

4. Public Pages and AI Summaries

4.1 Public Pages: Streamer and team pages on this site are public and listed in our sitemap, so search engines may index them. They show only information that is already public on Twitch.

4.2 AI Summaries: To write recaps and daily summaries, we send public stream details (such as streamer names, stream titles, categories, durations, raids and clip titles) to the Google Gemini API. We do not send access tokens, IP addresses or Discord account information.

5. Sharing Your Information

5.1 Platforms Talon Connects To: We exchange data with the Discord API (to sign you in and post and edit messages) and the Twitch API and EventSub (to sign you in, look up streamers and teams, and receive stream events).

5.2 Service Providers: The subprocessors we use to provide the Services are: Laravel Cloud and its underlying providers (hosting and database), Laravel Nightwatch (application monitoring), and Google (the Gemini API, as described in Section 4.2).

5.3 Legal and Business Transfers: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users or ourselves, and we may transfer it as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.

6. Where Your Information Goes

Talon is based in the United States. Your information is processed and stored on servers located in the United States. By using the Services, you consent to this transfer.

7. How Long We Keep It

7.1 Account Data: We keep your account data until you delete your account or ask us to delete it.

7.2 Operational Logs: Routine bot activity logs are deleted automatically after a short period, typically 7 days.

7.3 Stream History: Stream history for monitored streamers is kept to power the public pages and recaps until the streamer is no longer monitored or asks us to remove it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard technical and administrative measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and restricted access to production systems. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

9. Your Rights and Choices

9.1 Self-Service: You can disconnect Twitch or permanently delete your account and associated data from the Account page. Removing Talon from a server stops new announcements there. You can also revoke Talon's access in your Discord or Twitch settings.

9.2 Requests: You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or object to certain processing, through our contact form.

9.3 Streamers: If you are a streamer and don't want Talon to show a public page about you, contact us and we will remove it.

10. Children's Privacy

The Services are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Washington State Privacy Rights

As a Washington LLC, we follow applicable Washington consumer protection and privacy laws for Washington residents.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for material changes, give reasonable notice through the Site or dashboard.
